Who doesn't loved to be pampered?! As our parents get older, we must remember that it is important for them to feel beautiful too. This can involve anything from getting a new hair cut, getting a new hair perm, or something as simple as styling their hair!

  • These are a few of our favorite hairstyles for seniors!

Modern Spiky StyleModern Spiky Style

This look is ideal for active women who just don't have time to mess with styling their hair. Spunky spikes are simultaneously stylish and low-maintenance. Simply use a product like a pomade or gel to create the spiky look for a style that will last all day!

Mid-Length Bob

Mid-Length Bob

Mid-length bobs are popular styles that flatter most face shapes. This cut can be paired with bangs. To keep the mid-length bob looking sleek and sophisticated, use a leave-in conditioner on the ends of the hair to prevent fly-aways.

Gentle WavesGentle Waves

Soft, gentle waves give hair a feminine, romantic look. Women with wavy hair will find that a short or medium-length cut can be very flattering. The front layers should be kept shorter to frame the face while the back can be a longer length. For women who want this look, but don't have naturally wavy hair, waves can be created with curlers, hot rollers, or a curling iron.

Permed StylesPermed Styles

A great way for senior women to have a hairstyle that is both flattering and easy to manage is by getting a perm on a short hairstyle. This is a popular look for senior women because the hair stays out of the face and the curls give the hair shape and volume. However, you will need to get a perm every 3-4 months to keep the hair in tip-top shape.

Short Voluminous StyleShort Voluminous Style

Many senior women prefer a style that will keep their hair away from the face. A short voluminous look will do just that. Many women will need to get a body perm to give their hair volume on top. The hair should then be combed straight back and kept in place with a firm hold hairspray.
