Alzheimer's Activities Coordinator

Bel Aire Senior Living in American Fork, Utah is hiring for an Activities Coordinator in our Alzheimer's Wing.

Our philosophy is to have a high touch approach with each resident, which includes sensory types of activities that span emotional, spiritual/ religious, tactile and audio spectrum's.

This is a unique position and it requires patience, dedication, compassion, creativity, commitment, insight and love of the residents and their families.

You will be required to plan a daily schedule Monday through Friday from 10:30-4:30. Some of that time will be allotted for planning and preparing material for activities and scheduling activities and events for the upcoming week and month. You will be required to participate in all holiday activities.

*Required Experience

  • Recreational Therapy or Experience Equivalent: 1 year
  • One year experience preferred working with Alzheimer's/Dementia patients.
