FOOD SERVICE MANAGER
An immediate Job opportunity exists for an experienced and professional Manager of Dining Services. The selected candidate will successfully oversee and manage the day to day operations of all Dining Services operations. A passion for food and hands on experience in delivering dining room service are critical for success in this position. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will maintain and uphold the standards of Bel Aire Senior Living and meet the expectations of the department while ensuring exceptional customer service, hospitality and a quality dining experience for our residents.
This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, some computer skills, strong interpersonal skills with kitchen staff and other management team members, patience, one-on-one instruction skills, and a positive attitude to be successful.
Candidate must be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently and able to make decisions. Must have excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented. Must be pleasant, professional and willing to assist your staff where ever needed.
Qualified candidates will possess 3-5 years of related food service experience and at least one year of food service management experience, obtain/hold any local, state and county required food handling certifications. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with seniors and older adults.
