Recent Personnel Changes at Bel Aire

In Steve's Column, Main

I wanted to bring everyone up to speed on some of the changes we went through during the month of April. Since many of you and other family members call the facility or come visit regularly, you undoubtedly noticed some personnel changes.

First, Jennifer who had worked with us for 11 years as our care director, decided to begin fulfilling a longtime dream of running an assisted living facility. She was offered an administrator position in Salt Lake City. We are very happy for her to go into her next challenge in life.

Next, as you walk into our lobby or called on the phone you have noticed that Teresa is no longer with us. She determined mid-month that this was not the right job for her. We also wish her well, and to find work that will be a better fit and more fulfilling for her.

In reorganizing our staff following those changes, our former care coordinator, Sherry Parker, who worked with Jennifer for five years as care coordinator has seamlessly moved into the care director role. The learning curve for Sherry has been nearly non-existent.

Sherry-Parker-cropSherry was born and raised in Redondo Beach, Ca. She has two children and three grandchildren. She has been a Home Health and Hospice CNA since 2008 and has been the Care Coordinator/Med Tech for Bel Aire Senior Living since 2009. Sherry loves working in the health care field and enjoys the special relationships she's able to develop with her patients, residents and their families. She brings a beautiful attitude and radiant smile to all who meet her. She enjoys cooking, entertaining and sushi. Sherry and her husband love the outdoors and enjoy spending their free time traveling the countryside on their Harley.

She would like to share the following with you:

"I am so excited about my new adventure. I am looking forward to continuing the excellent care that Jennifer provided to our residents and their families. Please know, that my door is always opened (at the top of the stairs) to you, should you have any questions, concerns or compliments. I could not be more thankful for this opportunity to serve."

CiaraMWe also hired a new receptionist Ciara Moosman. Ciara born and raised in Mapelton, UT. She is has 4 siblings and one niece. She is currently studying legal studies at UVU. She just moved back from Washington D.C. where she was working as an intern for Jason Chafetz and she is excited to now transition to our receptionist. She loves to bake pastries, swim and be outdoors with her family. She is excited to get to know you better in the coming weeks.

With our sincere thanks,
